Cookie Policy

Tavro Studio uses cookies and similar technologies on its websites and platforms to operate core functions, remember your preferences, and measure how our products are used. This policy explains what we use, why we use it, and how you can manage your preferences.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web-based platform. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy.

Essential cookies

Essential cookies are necessary for Tavro Studio websites and platforms to function. They enable core operations including: secure authentication sessions managed by Clerk; shopping cart state and checkout flow on the digital product store; CSRF protection tokens that prevent cross-site request forgery; and server-side session verification for the internal CMS. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without breaking core site functionality.

Analytics cookies

We use first-party analytics to understand how visitors use our websites and products. This involves a randomly generated session identifier, page view events, product interaction events (views, add-to-cart, purchase), and referral source data. Where Google Analytics is used, it places its own cookies (_ga, _gid, and related identifiers) to measure traffic and usage patterns under Google's data processing terms. Analytics cookies help us improve the design, content, and performance of our products but are not required for the site to function.

Preference cookies

Preference cookies remember choices you make when using Tavro Studio websites, such as your selected colour theme (light or dark mode). These cookies persist across browser sessions so you do not need to reset your preference on each visit. Removing them will reset your preferences to the default state.

Payment provider cookies

When you initiate a checkout through Tavro Studio Digitals, Polar — our payment processor — loads its own scripts and may set cookies to operate the secure payment overlay, prevent fraud, and verify transaction integrity. These cookies are set by Polar under their privacy and cookie policy and are active only during and around the checkout process.

Authentication provider cookies

Where Clerk is used for account authentication, it sets session cookies to maintain your logged-in state across page navigations. These are essential to the account and purchase history features. Google's sign-in flow may also set its own cookies in your browser if you use Google authentication. Google's cookie policy governs those identifiers.

Third-party embeds and content

Some Tavro Studio media brand pages and product listings may embed third-party content such as audio players or video previews from platforms including Spotify, YouTube, or SoundCloud. These embeds may set their own cookies when loaded. Tavro Studio does not control these third-party cookies. Refer to the relevant platform's cookie or privacy policy for details.

Managing and disabling cookies

You can manage or disable non-essential cookies through your browser's privacy or cookie settings. Most browsers allow you to block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or clear existing cookies. Disabling essential cookies will affect your ability to sign in, complete purchases, or access account features. Instructions for managing cookies are available in the help documentation of your browser. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the technologies we use or applicable regulations. Material changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
